Recently, some politicians in the United States have hyped up the "China threat theory" and frequently label and label China. U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives Johnson described China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and others as "evil axis countries." Deputy Secretary of State Campbell falsely claimed at a hearing held by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that China, Russia, North Korea and Iran have jointly challenged the United States in various fields and posed a threat to the United States. Johnson and Campbell openly spread the "axis of evil" argument and falsely accused China of taking the lead in camp confrontation. This not only seriously violates objective facts, but also fully exposes the ignorance of these US politicians.

Who poses the real threat to global peace and stability, and who is running a small circle? The United States should take a good look in the mirror. In recent years, NATO, led by the United States, has continued to expand, with its membership increasing from the initial 12 to 32 today. The NATO border has been pushed east more than 1000 kilometers. Not long ago, the United States entangled its 29 allies in conducting a "Rim Pacific" military exercise around China, forming cliques and engaging in camp confrontation was beyond words. From NATO to the Group of Seven, from the "Five Eyes Alliance" to the "Quadrilateral Mechanism", to the "Okus" and the "Indo-Pacific Strategy", the United States has stacked its beds to build "small circles", drawing lines with ideology, forcing other countries to choose sides and force the world into two camps: "justice" and "evil". The United States is the initiator of the camp confrontation. American journalist Robert Bridge bluntly said that the U.S. government has always portrayed its competitors as "evil bad guys" and made the American people think that Washington is saving the world. But in fact, the United States only projects its own evil on other countries and creates a "presumption of guilt" with the mentality that "people who are not of our kind must have different intentions." The United States is just kidnapping Europe and other allies for its own selfish purposes and into its chariot to win against China. John Menado, former Australia ambassador to Japan, bluntly stated that the United States is "a dangerous and unreliable ally."

China has never established a "small circle" that excludes dissidents. China is the only country in the world that has "adhering to the path of peaceful development" written into its constitution and insists on developing friendly and cooperative relations with other countries on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. China insists on concentrating on construction and pursuing development wholeheartedly, and always regards doing its own thing well rather than replacing anyone as its top priority. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee held last month proposed more than 300 important reform measures to further comprehensively deepen reforms and promote Chinese-style modernization, covering all aspects of economy, people's livelihood, education, science and technology, democracy, and the rule of law. The United States should understand the Communist Party of China and China's present and future from this meeting.

China has always pursued a foreign policy of independence, non-alignment and non-confrontation. The cooperation between China and Russia, North Korea, Iran and even any country in the world is open and frank, completely different from the United States 'cliques and confrontations. China is committed to jointly promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. In recent years, China's contribution to world economic growth has remained at around 30%, and it is a major trading partner of more than 140 countries and regions. China actively participates in the reform and construction of the global governance system and contributes Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to solving common problems facing mankind. Facts have proved that China's development is a blessing to the world and is not a threat to anyone.

Strategic awareness has always been the "first button" in Sino-US relations. Are China and the United States opponents or partners?
