As the only "strategic partner" of the CIIE, Bank of China has served and guaranteed the CIIE for the seventh consecutive year, giving full play to its globalization advantages and comprehensive characteristics, and paving the way for cross-border cooperation and Sino-foreign exchanges. As the first line of the group's services to the CIIE, BOC Shanghai City Branch has gathered the strength of the bank, coordinated the bank's resources, exerted the wisdom of all employees, relied on its valuable experience in serving the first six CIIE, and provided better services, more professional guarantees, and more efficient execution, fully devoted itself to the preparations for the 7th CIIE, participating in the grand event and sharing the future with exhibitors and merchants around the world.

At the CIIE, an open platform and grand event for cooperation, BOC Shanghai City Branch has made every effort to provide services and make great progress.

In order to further expand the spillover effects of the CIIE, Bank of China has been actively serving cross-border exhibitors around the world. This year, Bank of China successfully won the bid for the group's global cash management project of a consumer goods giant and remained as the main cooperative bank, providing new assistance to the group's development in China. At the same time, in order to promote the display and sales of CIIE exhibits throughout the year, BOC Shanghai City Branch has created an online cooperation platform of "CIIE Good Things, Shopping Thursday" to accurately match CIIE exhibits through big data matching and resource integration. Consumers, help open up the last mile of "exhibits turning into commodities." Recently, BOC Shanghai City Branch successfully connected with CP Group, Jianong Group and other companies, signed contracts with 23 CIIE exhibitors, launched 32 brand activities, reaching nearly two million consumers. Through this platform, it helps leading companies expand the domestic market and allows consumers to access more global good things.

Improve payment experience and be a pioneer in convenience services

Since the beginning of this year, opening-up measures such as the visa-free policy have allowed more people from abroad to understand China, enter China, and often live in China. Payment is the focus of attention for foreigners in China. BOC Shanghai City Branch promptly upgraded "Hello, China" comprehensive financial services for overseas non-residents to promote the parallel development of mobile payment, bank card, and cash services.

Bank of China and UnionPay International have joined hands to promote and issue the "Splendid China" series of theme cards in Malaysia, Singapore and other markets, focusing on special products and services such as consumer cash rebates and domestic rights travel bags. At present, Bank of China has issued more than 7 million UnionPay cards in 16 overseas countries and regions. At the same time, the UnionPay standard wallet APP has been issued in Australia, Japan and other places to better meet the diverse payment needs of cash withdrawal, credit card swiping, scanning code and swiping payment. It wholeheartedly serves Sino-foreign exchanges and enhances the payment experience in multiple dimensions.

Recently, BOC Shanghai City Branch gave full play to the Group's advantages of domestic and overseas linkage, successfully supported the recruitment and promotion of the 7th CIIE in Morocco, posted relevant payment service guides on the official website of the Chinese Cultural Center in Rabat, Morocco, and used comprehensive financial services to enhance the interest of Morocco companies in trade and investment in China.

Professional platforms connect the world and become cross-border sales matchmakers

Coty, a world-renowned beauty company, is one of the exhibitors of the CIIE. As the only Chinese-funded bank that Coty cooperates with, Bank of China Shanghai City Branch provides a package of cross-border financial services to enterprises. This year, Bank of China Shanghai City Branch invited Coti as one of the first customers to enter the Trade Club Alliance ("TCA"). It is reported that TCA is an inter-bank cooperation organization that relies on the online B2B platform to facilitate import and export enterprises of various countries (regions) to find cross-border trading partners and reach cross-border cooperation. BOC is TCA's exclusive cooperative bank in China.

Not only that, Bank of China's first "BOC E Enterprise Win" docking and matching platform continues to serve CIIE exhibition merchants. For six consecutive CIIE sessions, the "BOC e-Win" system has recruited more than 28,000 companies, including more than 22,000 domestic companies and more than 6400 overseas exhibitors. A total of more than 10,000 rounds of online and offline negotiations have been completed, and a total of more than 5000 cooperation intentions have been promoted. Bank of China Shanghai City Branch will continue to improve its functional platform, help enterprises expand a broader "circle of friends", and serve as a guide and bridge for the integration and interoperability of domestic and foreign enterprises.

As the 7th CIIE enters the 100-day countdown, Bank of China's services to the CIIE have once again been comprehensively upgraded: the "Comprehensive Financial Service Plan for the 7th CIIE" was released to further enrich the CIIE's "pre-exhibition-in-exhibition-post-exhibition" full-process service, continuing the ingenious service of CIIE, and doing a good job in the "five major articles" of finance. At the same time, relying on BOC's unique advantages such as global network, comprehensive services, cross-border policies, exhibition experience, branch services, and international talents, it focuses on modules such as "dual-business and customer group full-process services" and the four major CIIE exclusive scenarios to improve the global scope.
