On May 15, the Xinjin High-speed Hankou Tunnel, which was constructed by China Construction Road and Bridge, was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's longest highway spiral tunnel.

The Xinjin Expressway starts from Yingcun, Daduan Town, Fengquan District, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, to Yingpan Village, Gujiao Township, Lingchuan County, Shanxi Province, with a total length of 69.75 kilometers, and was completed and opened to traffic on December 26, 2022. The Xinjin high-speed spiral tunnel group consists of 9 tunnels, winding along the Taihang Mountain for two and a half circles, with a total length of 28 kilometers. Among them, the Hankou Tunnel has a total length of 4457 meters, between 784 meters and 893 meters above sea level, the height difference between the entrance and exit is 109 meters, and the minimum turning radius is 700 meters.

The project team adheres to the Chinese architectural spirit of "loyalty and mission", builds a highway on the cliff, ends the history of the "broken road" of the Jinxin Expressway, opens up a road of happiness and development for the two provinces of Henan and Jin, effectively drives the development and revitalization of the old revolutionary base area of Taihang Mountain, and plays a great role in promoting the mutual transportation, material circulation, tourism development, and industrial and agricultural production of the two provinces.
